Two for the Price of One

Good Morning, We are still on holiday for a couple more days and my Granddaughter Abbie aged 10 wanted us to make some cards, we only have a limited supply of craft items with us and decided we could make Christmas cards for the challenge at "Bah Humbug" which is to feature a girl on your card. Abbie's card is the first one for which she used a Hanglar image and coloured it with Promarkers, she cut some holly from a piece of Memory Box paper added this and a Christmas Greeting which doesn't show up very well on the photo.

My card was made using a Tilda image coloured with Promarkers, paper by Kaisercraft, flowers, gold thread and a Christmas greeting.

Tuesday morning already, this week has flown by while I am on holiday, and once again it is time for the challenge at My Time to Craft. Our challenge this week is "In Full Bloom" and for my card I have chosen a topper and papers from "Making Cards" magazine I added a little Distress Stickles to the rose, some ribbon, pearls, lace and finished with a sentiment courtesy of blogging friend Tammi.

Here Come the Girls

Our challenge this week at My Time to Craft is "Here Come the Girls". I made my card a couple of weeks ago for my granddaughter Abbie's 10th birthday but thought it would just fit this challenge. The image is by Hanglar coloured as usual with Copics and the papers are from the Chanteuse Collection by Kaisercraft. I used a Martha Stewart trellis edge punch, a swirl cut with a Marianne die, nestibilities, added a doily, ribbon, pearls, flowers by Magnolia, and a computer generated sentiment. Merry Christmas

So wet here today, looks more like November than August, only difference being it is a lot warmer. As the weather is so bad and no chance of getting out today decided to make a card for the challenge at Bah Humbug! must admit I wasn't sure what to do for "White on White" but in the end quite enjoyed making this card and was pleased with the result, though the photo is not too good. I used a Martha Stewart edge punch for the star sides, Cuttlebug embossing folders for the background and the tree, which was cut with a Marianne die. The snowflake was cut with a Nesties and I added some Twinklets to this, I finished with some white pearls, white ribbon and the sentiment is an Anna Griffin stamp.

Fairy Tales

Good Morning, well it's Tuesday again so that means it must be time this week's challenge at My Time to Craft. The challenge this week is "Fairy Tales" which if you take a look at the blog you will see that this has been interpreted in different ways by the Design Team and there are some lovely cards on there. For my card I used a fairy image by LOTV and coloured with Copics, the papers are by Making Memories and Prima and I distressed all the edges with a Tim Holtz distressing tool. I added a lace doily, Stardust Stickles, some lace, ribbon, pearl buckle, pearls, flowers and adhesive stones. I used a Martha Stewart edge punch and finished with a sentiment stamp by Stamping Bella. I do hope you can join us this week.

Christmas Dance

Not a very nice day today weatherwise so I decided to tidy my craft room and make a Christmas card for the challenge at Simon Says which this week is "Christmas in August". The image I used is a new one from LOTV called "Christmas Dance" - she is just soooo cute, I coloured her with Copics and added Twinklets on the fur, the papers are by Memory Box and I machine stitched all around the edges. The sentiment is by Crafter's Companion, I added a flower from my stash and coloured it with a Copic as it wasn't quite dark enough, the ribbon and pearls are also from my stash.

I would also like to enter this card for the following challenges:
